RYJAK RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking Requirements:

  1. Prior to the start of the hire period, it is necessary to make the full payment.

  2. It is mandatory to provide proof of address and identification when visiting our facility to have your tent fitted for hire. Valid documents include a Utility Bill, Council Tax statement, Driving License, or Passport.

  3. An additional week's payment will be collected at the time of hire and fitting. This amount will be refunded upon return if there is no damage to the tent.

Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Charges for Hiring Services

  • 1.0 The hire charges mentioned in the invoice are applicable for the entire duration of the rental agreement, including Saturdays, Sundays, and all public holidays. The commencement of the hire period will be the day on which the customer expects to receive or collect the rented goods. The minimum rental period is one week.

  • 1.1 Return Date - In case the rented equipment is not returned by the end of the rental period, the security deposit will be utilized to cover the extended rental duration.

  • 1.2. Security Deposits - When making a reservation, a security deposit for potential damages is mandatory for all rented equipment. This deposit will be included in the invoice. Once the equipment is returned and inspected, and if it's found to be in satisfactory condition, the security deposit will be refunded to the renter within 7 working days. The deposit amount varies based on the rental cost and duration, as specified in the rental invoice.

2. Damage to Rented Goods

  • 2.0. When damage beyond normal wear and tear occurs, charges for repairs, excessive cleaning, and replacements will be deducted from the renter's security deposit. The renter will receive a notification regarding this deduction. If the equipment is deemed irreparable, the renter will be responsible for the full value of the item.

3. Estimated Charges

  • 3.0. The cost of replacing the equipment will be calculated using our current publicly advertised retail price (depending on the specific product).

  • 3.1. Additional cleaning beyond our standard cleaning, including brushing, vacuuming, and basic cleaning, will be charged at a rate of £20 per hour, with a minimum charge of 1 hour.

  • 3.2. In the event of vandalism on any rented equipment, the entire security deposit will be forfeited.

4. Loss of Equipment

  • 4.0. The complete retail value of any lost rented equipment will be charged.

5. Theft of Roof Top Tents and Equipment

  • 5.0. If tents or equipment are stolen, it's imperative to report the incident to the police and obtain a crime reference number.

  • 5.1. The renter must also inform Ryjak LTD within 24 hours of the theft.


6. Payment Terms:

  • 6.0. Payment for all charges specified in the hire agreement must be submitted in full upon confirmation of the equipment order. Payment will only be considered complete once Ryjak LTD has received cleared funds.

  • 6.1. Failure to make payment within the designated time frame will result in order cancellation, and the hirer will receive notification via email.

  • 6.2. Payment options include cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer, with detailed instructions provided on the invoice.

7. Policy on Cancellations:

  • 7.1. In the event of a hire cancellation, after payment has been processed, the following charges will apply:

  1. Refund available if cancellation is made up to 21 days before the hire start date: 50% of the total charge will be refunded.

  2. Cancellations made less than 21 days before the hire period will not be eligible for any hire charge refunds.

8. Responsibilities of the Hirer :

  • 8.0. Before commencing the hire, the hirer is required to thoroughly inspect all equipment and acknowledge its condition through a signature.

  • 8.1. The hirer assumes responsibility for the security of all equipment until it is returned. The Hirer agrees not to sell, alter, repair, modify, or relinquish possession of the equipment without obtaining prior permission from Ryjak LTD.

  • 8.2. The hirer is responsible for the proper and safe use of the equipment at all times. The equipment must be operated by a competent individual who is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Additionally, the hirer must confirm that any equipment used in conjunction with the hired items adheres to relevant safety standards.

9. Warning from Manufacturers:

  • 9.0. While the material used in the equipment is fire retardant, it is not flame resistant. Thus, smoking or cooking inside the car tents is strictly prohibited.

  • 9.1 The hirer must ensure that the rented equipment is used safely and is kept away from open flames or smoking throughout the duration of the agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability:

  • 10.0. Ryjak LTD's liability for equipment defects or failures is restricted to repairing or replacing the defective components at the discretion of the company.

  • 10.1. Ryjak LTD's liability regarding claims from the hirer does not cover unforeseeable financial losses resulting from unsuitability, breakdown, or lawful repossession. Please be aware that no tent material is entirely waterproof, and during extreme weather conditions, minor leakage might occur around openings and seams.

  • 10.2. Ryjak LTD's liability does not extend to any damage, loss of personal possessions, or equipment damage from the tent while it's on hire. The hirer should arrange suitable insurance coverage to account for such potential losses or damages.
